As an experienced cybersecurity advisor at ACEN, you act as a trusted partner for clients and a driving force within our advisory team. You design and lead cybersecurity programs, translate complex risks into strategic decisions, and guide organizations through their cybersecurity transformation.
The advisory team embraces an innovation- and data-driven approach, and you are expected to actively contribute at the front line of innovation, including the responsible use of AI within cybersecurity services and client solutions.
Tasks
- Advise clients on the transformation and optimization of their cybersecurity organization.
- Design security solutions aligned with business, IT, and risk objectives.
- Lead cybersecurity programs using frameworks such as CIS Controls v8, NIST CSF, CCB CyberFundamentals, and ISO 27001.
- Perform cybersecurity maturity assessments and define improvement programs.
- Act as mentor and coach for junior and medior consultants.
- Support team coordination and operational management.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, thought leadership and innovation.
- Support pre-sales activities and proposal development.
- Deliver high-level strategic advice to senior management and executives.
- Support the implementation of policies, governance, and security practices.
- Lead and coordinate security awareness initiatives.
Profile
- Strong and broad understanding of cybersecurity and risk management.
- Proven experience aligning information security with business strategy.
- Ability to translate security requirements into practical and effective controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Experience managing complex programs and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Innovative mindset with affinity for AI and data-driven security solutions.
- Comfortable acting as an ambassador for ACEN in client and market-facing contexts.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Willing to travel occasionally for client engagements .
