To support the continued growth of our organization, we are looking for a Business Unit Manager who will help structure and develop one of our technical domains.
Our organization is founded on a strong team of highly skilled technical experts. This role is designed to support those teams by taking ownership of the operational, organizational, and strategic aspects of the business unit, allowing technical specialists to focus on what they do best.
You will act as the bridge between technical teams, business objectives, and strategic growth, ensuring that the unit operates efficiently while continuing to expand its capabilities and market presence. We are looking for someone who understands the IT environment and is able to lead, structure, and grow teams and services.
Tasks
You will be responsible for the operational management and growth of a specific service domain within the company:
- Operational management of the business unit, including planning, utilization follow-up and overall team coordination.
- Financial oversight of the domain, including P&L follow-up, revenue evolution, margins and forecasting.
- Supporting project delivery by ensuring proper planning, prioritization and coordination across teams.
- Building strong relationships with technology vendors and partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, partnerships and opportunities.
- Working together with marketing and leadership to develop go-to-market initiatives and growth plans for the domain.
- Supporting renewals and long-term customer relationships in collaboration with the commercial teams.
- Helping shape the strategic direction of the domain, identifying growth opportunities, new services and improvements.
- Coaching and supporting team leads and technical specialists to ensure a healthy, sustainable team environment.
Profile
- Strong operational leader who thrives in a technology-driven environment.
- Experience in operations management, business unit management, consulting leadership or service delivery management.
- A good understanding of IT services, cybersecurity or managed services environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to structure teams, processes and priorities.
- Experience with P&L ownership, budgeting or financial follow-up.
- Good communication skills and the ability to connect technical teams with business objectives.
- People-oriented leader, capable of guiding experts while maintaining focus on operational excellence and growth.
- Experience working with technology vendors or strategic partners is a plus.
