ACEN brings together cybersecurity specialists and sets course for revenue doubling in three years

Antwerp, (31.03.2026) – The Belgian cybersecurity company ACEN is joining forces with four specialized cybersecurity players under one integrated brand. With the operational acquisitions of IS4U, ActWise, Orlox, and Nynox, supplemented by specialized network security expertise, ACEN is taking a significant step in its growth strategy.

The company aims to double its revenue within three years. “Cybersecurity is too important and too complex today to be tackled in a fragmented way,” says Wouter Decruy, Managing Director at ACEN. “Organizations are looking for a single partner that brings together strategy, technology, and compliance within one clear framework.”

Fragmented market requires integrated approach

The cybersecurity market has become highly fragmented in recent years. Organizations often work with various specialized consultants, which does not always lead to a cohesive strategy. At the same time, cyber threats are increasing, and regulations require companies to demonstrably strengthen their security. As a result, there is a growing demand for a single partner that offers an overview, integrates cybersecurity services, and guides organizations in their further maturation.

To meet this demand, ACEN is joining forces with IS4U, ActWise, Orlox, and Nynox, supplemented by specialized network security expertise, into one integrated organization. Together, they cover four core domains: advisory, identity security, security monitoring, and infrastructure security. This allows ACEN to guide organizations from initial analysis to implementation, monitoring, and follow-up, including via managed services. In doing so, ACEN operates technology-independently: the combination of commercial and open-source solutions allows them to choose the approach that best suits the sector, budget, and compliance requirements of the client.

“You can compare cybersecurity to a complete home renovation,” says Managing Director Wouter Decruy. “You can hire a different contractor for electricity, plumbing and insulation, but without central coordination, it becomes difficult to efficiently align all the work. With ACEN, we take on that coordination role.”

Concrete support regarding NIS2

A concrete example of this integrated approach is the guidance ACEN offers regarding the NIS2 directive. This regulation requires organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity policy, structurally manage risks, and better document their approach.

For many companies, the gap between their current security level and the requirements turns out to be larger than expected, especially for SMEs with limited internal expertise and budgetary constraints. “We not only help companies comply with regulations such as NIS2, but also ensure that cybersecurity remains workable and manageable in practice,” says Decruy.

Ambition: becoming a top Belgian player

The integration is part of a broader growth strategy. ACEN aims to double its revenue over the next three years and become one of the top five cybersecurity service providers in Belgium. Additionally, the company intends to further strengthen its presence in the Netherlands and Luxembourg. “By pooling our expertise under a single brand, we create the scale and clout to grow faster than the market,” Decruy summarizes ACEN’s ambition.

That ambition also translates into greater visibility at the European level. ACEN is present at Cybersec Europe in Brussels this year, where the company has its own stand. “We notice that organizations are increasingly looking for a single partner who can guide them through an increasingly complex cyber environment,” says Jeffrey Van Vyve, Chief Commercial Officer at ACEN. “By joining forces, we can effectively fulfill that role today.”
